My life has consisted of a series of chapters; all good, all interesting. My first degree was a BA in Art. My second degree was Elementary Education. I retired four years ago from teaching second grade. Gardening has always been a passion, especially landscaping and flower gardening. Does Everything Grow Better in My Neighbor's Yard began as I fulfilled my desire to continue communication on the internet with family and friends. I live in Iowa. Smack dab in the middle of the country. I love it here.My home is located in a young oak and hickory woodlands... it's very shady here, but the removal of three unhealthy trees in the front yard has resulted in a fabulous Sunny Corner Bed.
